This year, the annual Winter Wonderlights event will be held, where you can experience the dazzling beauty of Sovereign Hill, and the spectacular light show that brings a magical experience. Don’t miss out on this if you’re in Melbourne or travelling to Melbourne.

Experience the Winter Wonderlights
- Snowy Stroll Enjoy a romantic walk in the gold rush town, surrounded by snowfall, and experience the unique Christmas atmosphere of winter.
- Band Performances Every day from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, the classic Christmas carols performed by the brass band will fill the Main Street of Taogu Town during the event.
- Arts and Crafts You can participate in hands-on art and craft activities, unleash your creativity, and create your own souvenirs to take home. Location: Carver & Dalton Auction Rooms
- Play-acting – Saint Nicholas and Old Horse A typical whimsical theatrical performance will take place here, which is a lot of fun and suitable for audiences of all ages. Location: Victoria Theatre
- Saint Nicholas’s Cabin Visit Saint Nicholas’s cabin and take photos while writing down your Christmas wish list. Location: Parade Showground
- Winter Wonderland Take a stroll in the winter wonderland of Mount Shufen, and appreciate the differences between day and night during the sunset. Location: Sovereign Hill Lake
- Nighttime Exploration of the Gold Rush Area In the evening, you can bring delicious food, warm yourself by the campfire, and enjoy the pleasure of picnicking! Location: The Diggings
- Stunning Light Display There are over 20 kilometers of stunning lights where you can wander and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Location: Brightview Garden & Speedwell Street
- Dazzling Street Scenes On the main street of Taogu Town, there are brilliant projections and exciting music, making it the perfect spot for taking photos! Location: Main Street
