We discovered a fairy waterfall near Brisbane, just drive west. Very suitable for a weekend one-day trip with friends or for a family day! The Queen Mary Falls can be found directly on the map, feels much bigger than Mt Tamborine!
Parking is easy, just walk down along the track for about 15 minutes to reach it. This national park has 7 waterfalls, Queen Mary Fall is the biggest and is at the deepest spot.
Suitable for all fitness levels, lots of people bring their kids, and even elderly people can go! Just listening to the sound feels magical, the tiredness from driving mountain roads disappears, it’s absolutely worth it!
Going up the mountain, you can feel the natural greenery, the forest gives off an ancient vibe, and as you drive into the mountains, there are even some residents living there. Actually, once you reach a mountain traffic light, you can relax a bit. There are wide, flat roads inside, and two lookouts along the way.
Most people who come here are locals, there’re not many people, the whole experience is a such a surprise and it’s great! There are also many picnic areas near the parking lot, and having a picnic here when the weather is good is awesome!
