Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi

Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi

From October 20th to November 6th you can immerse yourself in an art spectacle, free for all to enjoy! We recommend an excellent event that will treat your eyes to an artistic feast!

Where does sculptures by the sea start and finish?

Right on the Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk in Sydney, you’ll discover a stunning seaside sculpture exhibition — Sculpture by the Sea!

How long is Sculpture by the Sea Walk?

Every spring, this place transforms into something extraordinary. Over 100 eye-catching sculptures will adorn the 2-kilometre coastal stretch along the cliff tops! It’s the world’s largest free outdoor sculpture exhibition!

What dates are in Sculpture by the Sea?

From October 20th to November 6th, the coastal walk between the southern end of Bondi Beach and Tamarama will come alive with a series of captivating sculptures. It’s an immersive experience where you can get up close to more than 100 pieces from Australian and international artists!

Is Sculpture by the Sea free?

Over the years, Sculpture by the Sea has been one of Sydney’s highly anticipated annual events, drawing crowds of up to half a million people every year! What’s even more delightful is that this coastal art extravaganza is entirely free; no tickets or reservations are required!

However, it can get a bit crowded on weekends, so if possible, we recommend visiting on weekdays to avoid the crowds.

Parking spaces are limited here, so public transportation is a pretty neat option for getting there! We’ve been to this exhibition before, and we were truly stunned by these sculptures! Whether it’s their unique shapes, creative ingenuity, or the artists’ exceptional skills, it’s absolutely stunning!
