This May, the grand Brisbane Paniyiri Greek cultural festival will once again return and meet everyone in 2023!

Paniyiri Greek Festival in 2023

Paniyiri began in 1976 and this year marks its 47th year! A group of Greek-Australian dreamed of bringing the sights, smells, sounds, tastes, and atmosphere of Greece to the streets of Brisbane, allowing people to experience the joyful atmosphere of Greece together!

Date: May 20th-May 21st

Time: Friday 12pm-10pm / Saturday 10am-7pm

Ticket: Single day $16.85 / Two days $27.05 / Free for children 12 years old and under

Things you need to know

Participants can expect to see the Zorba dance, plate smashing, honey puff eating competition, cooking demonstrations, pop-up Greek villages, and many delicious Greek foods such as grilled skewers, octopus, and more~ 20+ stalls for you to choose from!

In the evening, there are various performances, band performances, and special fashion shows. Greek wine and authentic beer are also provided on site for everyone to taste! Don’t miss out when you’re passing by!
