New Zealand’s Most Beautiful Cherry Blossom Festival 2023 in Neotown is About to Begin.

Every spring, the New Zealand Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the most anticipated events. Yes, the most beautiful and Instagram-worthy spot, the New Zealand Cherry Blossom Festival is back! If you want to experience the most romantic spring vibes, don’t miss this year’s 2023 New Zealand Cherry Blossom Festival!

Strolling amidst the pink sea of flowers feels like being in a romantic paradise! You don’t have to go to the South Island town of Omarama; it’s right here in Hamilton where you can experience this pink cherry blossom feast and admire beautiful cherry blossoms, hyacinths, primroses, and more. There will also be multicultural dances and costume performances.

NZ Cherry Blossom Festival 2023

The festival starts on September 27 and lasts for 7 days! September 23-24, September 29-30, and October 1, 2023, Saturday to Sunday.

In addition to the blooming flowers, there are different themed entertainment activities on different dates:

  • September 23: Variety Performance
  • September 24: Beatlemania
  • September 29, September 30, and October 1: Multicultural performances
  • October 7: Jazz and Blues
  • October 8: Bridgerton Spring Ball

Of course, there’s more! There will be various other activities on-site: food and coffee vendors, afternoon tea, pony rides, face painting, street performances, bubbles, treasure hunts, kids’ art tables, llamas, and more.

You can dress up in Regency, Oriental, or Maori costumes to join in the atmosphere. Dress according to the theme of the day, but feel free to express your preferences. If you want to perform in a corner of the garden, feel free to do so. Pets are also welcome.

  • Adult First Period: $25.00 per person
  • Adult Second Period: $29.00 per person
  • Adult Third Period (within 7 days after the event): $35.00 per ticket
  • Children (3-14 years) First Period: $13.00 each
  • Children (3-14 years) Second Period: $15.00 each
  • Children (3-14 years) Third Period (within 7 days after the event): $18.00 per ticket
