WonderWater Summer Program at Australia’s Museum of the Sea

We were amazed by the Wonder Water Summer Program at the Australia’s Museum of the Sea. It’s just too much fun! This program includes four themes: crafts, water play, LEGO, and light and shadow. Playing with kids inside for a whole day is not enough.

The price is amazing—$25 for adults, $15 for children, and free for children under 3. They even have annual passes, which are incredibly enjoyable. Just think about how much money you spend at kids’ cafes for a few hours. You won’t get bored here for a whole day.

Apart from this Summer Program, the Maritime Museum itself has a lot of interesting things to see, suitable for a wide range of ages.

WonderWater Summer Program

  1. Crafts: You can make headgear, badges (pressed on-site), and octopuses. There’s a wide variety of craft materials, a paradise for little girls. Looking at what the children create is truly impressive.
  2. Water Play: No need to say much about this. Children under 5 can play all day. Remember to bring a change of clothes.
  3. LEGO: Throw the older kids in, and parents can sleep on the side. The LEGO pieces are sorted by color. Some displays show pre-assembled marine animals that you can replicate or get creative with. In short, it’s a paradise for LEGO enthusiasts, regardless of age—0 to 99!
  4. Light and Shadow: It’s pitch black inside with an octopus theme. Children can step on crab shapes on the floor as if playing a game. They can also create their own octopus and project it onto the screen. There are many soft cushions on the floor; we saw many parents lying down, relaxing and using their phones. There are many great photo spots inside with cute marine animal toy headgear.

Outside, there’s a cafe. Have lunch when tired, and continue in the afternoon. You can really spend a whole day here without getting bored.

This Wonder Water Summer Program ends on February 4th. Make sure to check it out! It’s super worth it!
