Sydney Bubble Planet Experience

Sydney Bubble Planet Experience

During the long weekend, we took the kids to the popular Bubble Planet Exhibition. It’s an immersive, multi-sensory exhibition featuring not just bubbles, but also lights, ball pits, balloons, and the little ones’ favourite yellow ducks. It truly lives up to its name as a bubble-filled planet.

Each room is designed with a different theme, making it perfect for photos! From the moment our little one entered, their eyes were glued to everything, running around excitedly and having the best time. It’s a great place to let kids burn off energy.

However, some areas and props can pose safety risks for younger kids. For example:

  • The ball pit is very deep, and even adults might find it hard to move around in, so be extra cautious if you’re bringing a toddler. We spent about an hour inside before leaving.
  • The balloon-filled room can be a bit tricky as balloons might pop, so pay attention if you’re with smaller children. This is the first exhibit you enter. There are a lot of balloons, and small children can’t keep their heads above them.

The experience is great, if you can avoid weekends, it’s worth going.

If you go on weekdays or avoid weekends and holidays, it’s less crowded, and the experience will be better. The lighting inside is relatively dim, and each exhibit room is not very large. When it gets crowded, it may feel stuffy, and younger kids might not want to stay for too long.

Parking: Set your GPS to the exhibit address. There’s free street parking for 2 hours nearby.

Location: Paddington Pavilion, Olympic Blvd, Sydney Olympic Park
Dates: Starting June 6, 2025
Duration: Approximately 60–90 minutes
Tickets: $29.9 for kids, $39.9 for adults, free for children under 2. Kids under 17 must be accompanied by an adult (tickets available on the official website and Fever).

Weekends can get quite crowded, but we booked an early time slot, and it wasn’t too busy. For a better experience, consider going earlier in the day!
