Paint Your Own Pottery Experience in Melbourne

Pottery Workshops are so much fun! Driving almost an hour to the suburbs was totally worth it! We booked a one-hour session in advance on their website. When we arrived, the staff patiently explained everything. You can choose pottery pieces ranging from mini milk bottles to bowls and plates. The prices are very reasonable, ranging from $25 to $50, all-inclusive.

What we think

Even if you can’t paint, you can choose from various templates to print on the pottery. We took our time, and the staff kindly reminded us to start wrapping up after about two and a half hours—really nice of them!

We suggest finding images online in advance for what you want to paint.

One hour feels quite rushed. In the end, we even had to randomly color the bowl, missing some spots, but the overall experience was still really great!

After painting, we were told to wait for a call in about one to two weeks to pick up the finished product, or we could pay an extra $10 for shipping.

There’s a brunch place next door that was pretty crowded. When we finished, the shop was closing, so we browsed the store and found some lovely small cups.

Next time, we may to book a workshop to mould and paint our own pottery piece. This kind of DIY project is so enjoyable!
