The lavender farm in Wanaka, a must-visit on the journey from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo, truly adds the finishing touch to this trip. As one of the must-see attractions for travellers, we had seen many pictures before coming!
Apart from the endless beautiful scenery, the products in the souvenir shop are also excellent. I bought some to give to friends and for personal use. The lavender lip balm and body lotion are now part of my daily routine, with a fresh scent that lacks the strange and overpowering fragrance that some other lavender products might have.
The most stunning moment is when driving past the roadside with the purple wooden gate.
