Originally we intended to check in at The Hatter and the Hare, a popular restaurant in Bayswater, but we couldn’t get in (it was too busy). So we ended up trying out the newly opened Drom bakery across the street! The environment is so beautiful! You can see the bakers making bread through the large glass window!
What we think
They have a full glass kitchen where you can watch the bread-making process, kids are very excited to see it!
Every loaf of bread looks super cute! And it tastes great too! After trying so many, our favourite is the chocolate croissant! The chocolate flavour is rich but not too sweet!
Apart from croissant, what we must have every time is the breakfast bagels! It’s so chewy and not dry at all! There’s a thick layer of eggs inside! Plus the perfectly crispy bacon! We were hooked after the first bite!
Our friends have tried other items too! They said the burgers were also very tasty!
Their coffee is also not bad, still leaning towards light taste flavour.
The only drawback we would say is that they do not have indoor seating, only accept take away. There’s only a row of outdoor seats against the wall. Many customers come by car to get takeaway!

If you are taking trains, it seems you have to walk 700 meters from Bayswater train station! In short, public transportation is not very convenient! It’s best to drive there yourself!
