S&R Orchard Blossom Festival – Things you need to know

S&R Orchard Blossom Festival

Spring has finally arrived in Perth, and we decided to go for a flowery weekend outing!

It’s perfect for taking photos and checking in, and you can even bring a picnic mat for a picnic under the peach trees which can be quite romantic!

S&R Orchard Blossom Festival’s Best Photo Spots

There are over a dozen exquisitely designed photo spots in the park. We believe the most beautiful ones include the giant autumn leaf wreath, the autumn leaf piano, the floral boat, and the autumn leaf telephone booth, among others.

Each one is extremely photogenic!! They are complemented by the park’s natural colours, which can be golden, lush green, or resembling a rosy sunset, making it incredibly romantic.

It’s a good idea to go early to avoid long queues.

Activities at S&R Orchard Blossom Festival

It’s also great for taking kids to play as there are lots of little animals and some entertainment facilities like a Ferris wheel, spinning cups, and trampolines for the little ones to enjoy. The place is quite spacious, perfect for kids to burn off some energy, haha.

They also have a free sightseeing tractor ride, but be prepared for a lot of dust and a strong diesel smell.

Inside, there are plenty of food trucks on the weekend too, so you can grab something to eat if you get hungry.

The market is only on weekends, so it’s quite crowded. We highly recommend a small stall where you can make flower crowns. For $15, you can choose six flowers you like, and there will be someone to teach you how to weave them into a flower crown. We suggest making a flower crown first when you arrive, and then you can wear it for your photos later!
