The annual Tulip Time Festival is here. September brings the most enchanting season to Sydney, with not only flower viewing and markets but also various exhibitions – you won’t want to miss out! Tulips herald the arrival of spring in Sydney.

Tulip Time Festival

The Bowral Tulip Festival held continuously for over half a century, is one of Australia’s oldest flower festivals. Various varieties of tulips bloom in Corbett Gardens, overwhelming the senses. Additionally, there are dozens of private gardens scattered in the surrounding towns of Leura and Mittagong.

Event Highlights:

Nighttime lantern flower viewing, street performances, flower art displays, and more.

Tulip Viewing Spots near Sydney

Bowral Town

Corbett Garden Located in the heart of Bowral, Corbett Gardens is the main venue for the Sydney Tulip Festival, boasting over 70,000 bulbs of different tulip varieties.

You can freely admire the tulips, take photos, and participate in local traditional activities in these tulip-filled gardens.

Drive: Approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney

Leura Town

Everglades Garden This ancient garden in the Blue Mountains has over 70 years of history and is a great place for spring outings. It is filled with cherry blossom trees, lilacs, maple trees, and tulips, offering a different but year-round beautiful landscape. The European-style arches serve as natural frames, framing the distant Blue Mountains.

Drive: Approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney

Recommended Route: Sydney → Leura Town → Scottish cafe → Echo Point Three Sisters Peaks → Scenic World Blue Mountains Cableway → Lion’s Rock → Sublime Sunset
