This exhibition is truly worthwhile, and the best part is it’s free!The ‘1001 Remarkable Objects’ exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum is fantastic! It’s truly worth a visit!

The Powerhouse Museum will be closed for a major renovation for three years starting in February. So take advantage of the current time to bring the kids for another visit!

In addition to the regular exhibits on trains, planes, and aviation, there is also the recent event “1001 Remarkable Objects,” showcasing many exquisite and historically significant collectibles, leading us on a journey through time.

Experience

The exhibition brings together 1,001 marvellous items from around the world, and each collection in every room has its unique story and background.

As the name suggested, there are 1001 extraordinary and interesting items in 25 rooms! Each room having its own colour theme, creating a magnificent and awe-inspiring atmosphere. The exhibits not only include items from China but also showcase the fusion of Eastern and Western art. The exhibition runs until February 4th!

The showcased items include artistic works, technological innovations, precious jewellery, and many other rare collectibles. Each exhibit has its unique story and background. With 25 rooms, every piece of art defies traditional definitions, spanning from clothing to furniture, instruments, jewellery, and more. A must-see for art enthusiasts!

We saw a 350-year-old tree trunk, the sedan chair used by the British in the past, ancient Chinese kingfisher feather headdress, British knight armour, Japanese incense burner shrine! These peculiar and intriguing objects made the visit truly enjoyable.

Overall, there’s definitely something that will catch everyone’s interest!
