HIJINX Hotel Alexandria – Sydney’s new weekend spot

HIJINX Hotel Alexandria

If you’re unsure of where to go on weekends or worried about bad weather, located in Alexandria, Sydney, the Hijinx Hotel is not actually a hotel, but an immersive interactive gaming venue. It’s like a mini-escape room experience, and it’s situated next to the Holy Moly Mini Golf at night.

What to do at HIJINX Hotel Alexandria

There are 15 rooms, each with a different game, and players have 4 minutes to play each game. One set allows you to play 5 rooms, taking around 30 minutes in total. Each group of players is recommended to be between 2 to 6 people, and it is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

The cost is $25 per set for adults (5 rooms per set) and $20 for those under 18. We booked two sets starting at 3 pm, and each set ended at 3:30 pm, with a half-hour wait for the next set.

The lobby is a bar where you can order food and drinks while waiting. Next door is Holy Moly Mini Golf, which is also a great place to pass the time.

Every game we played was fun, the only downside being that 4 minutes was too short.

Address: 75 O’Riordan St Alexandria Sydney
