A Viral Korean Doughnut Shop Has Arrived in Melbourne

A Viral Korean Doughnut Shop Has Arrived in Melbourne

A viral Korean doughnut shop has opened in Melbourne, adding another must-visit spot near Queen Victoria Market. The shop focuses on Korean-style cream doughnuts that are soft like clouds. The dough is fluffy and slightly chewy, the fillings are generous, and the sweetness level is quite balanced — not overly sweet like many local doughnuts. The interior has a minimal Korean café style, with soft cream tones and flowers placed around the space, creating a really nice atmosphere.

DOH Korean Cream Doughnuts
Address – 9 Dhanga Djeembana Walk, Melbourne VIC 3000

Doughnuts

Each doughnut costs $6.50, and there is 10% off if you buy four. We tried several flavours and honestly most of them were good.

Recommended flavours include:

  • Matcha – very rich matcha flavour.
  • Ang Butter – red bean filling with a slice of butter. A great sweet and salty combination.
  • Dubai Chocolate – popular in Korea, with a crispy pistachio filling.
  • Durian – strong durian flavour for durian lovers.
  • Earl Grey – smooth and well balanced.
  • Blueberry – a good choice if you prefer fruity flavours.
  • Cookies & Cream – perfect if you like Oreo flavours.
  • Sweet Corn – one of our favourites.

The doughnuts are very soft, the fillings are generous, and they also look really nice for photos.

Drinks

They also serve a variety of specialty lattes designed to pair with the doughnuts.

Recommended drinks:

  • Tiramisu Matcha Latte – topped with a piece of tiramisu cake, very creamy and rich.
  • Black Sesame Latte – very fragrant with mochi and nuts inside, creating interesting layers.
  • Corn Latte – made with a strong corn puree at the bottom. If you like corn flavour, you might really enjoy it.

The black sesame latte is better sipped directly instead of using a straw to taste the layers.

Visiting Tips

The shop has been very popular recently, and there can be long lines during busy times.

  • Try avoiding lunchtime, as it gets crowded.
  • Many doughnuts may sell out by the afternoon, so going earlier is better.
  • We arrived around 11am on a weekday and didn’t need to queue.

Our Experience

We woke up early and managed to try almost everything at DOH, bringing a big box of doughnuts to share with friends.

Starting the day with fresh doughnuts and coffee together felt like such a happy moment.

If you’re visiting Queen Victoria Market or exploring the Melbourne CBD, this new dessert spot is definitely worth stopping by.
