Toowoomba Flower Festival 2023

The annual Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers is here again! From September 1st to September 30th, Toowoomba will host a series of unique events and experiences.

Throughout September, everyone is free to visit. For those interested, here are some places to consider:

  • Queens Park Botanic Gardens
  • Laurel Bank Park
  • Heritage Bank Parkland
  • Picnic Point Parkland
  • Spring Bluff Railway Station Garden
  • Japanese Garden

Toowoomba Flower Festival Activities

For different time periods, there will be various activities. Check them out:

  • The Festival of Food and Wine (Ticket required)
    • Date: September 8th to 10th, 2023
  • Grand Central Floral Parade
    • Date: 10 am, September 16th, 2023
  • Sideshow Alley
    • If you’re coming with kids, this is the place to be. Here, there will be circus games, rides, and a DJ. Plus, there will be fireworks in the evening, so remember to bring your picnic mat.
    • Friday: 5 pm – 10 pm (September 15th), fireworks at 8:30 pm Saturday: 9 am – 10 pm (September 16th), fireworks at 8:30 pm Sunday: 9 am – 9 pm (September 17th), fireworks at 7:30 pm
  • Teddy Bears’ Picnic
    • This event includes kids’ entertainment, food stalls, interactive games, and more. No reservation is needed – just bring your own teddy bear for a picnic.
    • Saturday: 8:30 am – 11:30 am (September 23rd)
  • Cinema Under
    • The Stars Get ready with your picnic blankets and join family and friends to watch a movie under the stars at Middle Ridge Park. Food trucks will also be available for purchasing snacks.
    • Date: September 30th (5:30 pm – 8:00 pm)
