RELICS: A New World Rises - Lego Exhibition at Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum, September 1st, the new LEGO Exhibition tickets released. If you’re a LEGO enthusiast as well, you definitely can’t miss this new LEGO exhibition at the Melbourne Museum.

The LEGO exhibition is named ‘RELICS: A New World Rises’ and is set in a future where humans have ruled for a long time, telling the story of a world. In this world, LEGO figures rise from the ruins and create a complex civilisation from discarded human artefacts. The inspiration for each piece comes from objects they now call home.

About the exhibition – RELICS: A New World Rises

The entire exhibition depicts 15 intricately detailed worlds, such as:

  • A group of plundering inventors reverse-engineers an old grandfather clock to create a time machine.
  • A cryogenic facility nestled inside an old-fashioned refrigerator, protecting its research subject from the ravages of a heated climate.
  • Within a vintage arcade, airlocks and elevators connect a series of game machines, forming a futuristic spaceport.

These are LEGO microcosms created from repurposed old objects, exploring a new world with a strong sense of nostalgia!
