Tokyo Lifestyle Haymarket Review

Tokyo Lifestyle Haymarket Review

A lot of things were $2 to $4. I bought plenty of daily items. The Japanese toothpaste and the face towels were both cheaper than at most other places. It’s a good shop for stocking up on daily items. One trip gets you half a month of supplies.

It’s a really good place to wander. I wanted to look slowly at every area. The displays are neat and comfortable to look at, and the shopping experience was good. I love the style of the shop, and everything photographs well. This was my first time at this store, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit.

Sanrio and the cute stuff

I didn’t expect the Sanrio range to be so complete. There are lots of cute charms, notebooks, hand creams, bento bags and more. Every time I’m in a shop like this, an hour goes by without me noticing.

The shop assistant saw I couldn’t make up my mind and came over to explain things to me in detail. She was really nice.

What else is there

Skincare and makeup, lifestyle goods, Sanrio plush toys and Pokémon cards.

There are snacks, beauty items, daily items and stationery gifts too. There’s something for guys and girls. The quality is good and it looks good, so it’s fine for gifts or for yourself. I couldn’t stop browsing.

Parking

The car park has 3 hours of free parking.

I first came across Tokyo Lifestyle in Chinatown, at New Year. It’s like they’ve moved a whole Japanese street to Sydney. It isn’t Japan, it’s Sydney’s Chinatown. That store is at G10, 80 Dixon Street, Haymarket.

Where it is

Melrose Central is in Melrose Park, between Sydney Olympic Park, North Ryde and Epping.

More Sydney finds: KMALL09 City and Buttered Bakery & Cafe in Chippendale.
