Linear Park playground

The weather was nice on the weekend, so we took the kid to check out the rainbow-coloured Linear Park. A playground just over an hour from Sydney CBD – Linear Park. It was quite a bit smaller than I imagined, but the kid really liked it and had a lot of fun.

Linear Park playground reviews

The playground’s colour design style is very beautiful. The colourful theme is something kids will definitely love. The two slides of different lengths are both our kid’s favourites. Climbing up and sliding down is a piece of cake. Climbing up and down the colourful bubble structures is also something our kid really enjoys.

There is a fairly long slide, toddler-friendly climbing rocks and rope climbing, plus a wide and low slide. It basically caters to kids of different ages. There are also the usual swings and other playground equipment, as well as BBQ facilities and seating. When we visited, there happened to be a party taking place.

One thing worth praising is that the shade coverage is especially good. The sun was actually quite strong when we went, but the kids didn’t feel hot while playing under the shaded areas.

There are toilets nearby and BBQ facilities as well.

When the weather is hot, there is also water for the kids to cool down.

Places nearby

If you’re only coming for the playground, it probably isn’t worth driving this far. But nearby there is also the Fire Station Museum, which is worth checking out. There is also Panthers Rugby Club nearby, where both CJ’s and Chopsticks or Forks have free kids’ meals on Sundays.

We chose CJ’s, and sure enough, every table had kids. The cheese burger combo from the kids’ menu was actually quite substantial.
