Finally got the sunny weather we’ve been waiting for this week, so we headed out to enjoy some nature!
We saw Coastal Walkway Bridges lookout on Google and discovered there’s a super long walking trail along the coastline. It looked pretty good, so we decided to check it out straight away.
We parked the car nearby, then followed the path down to the area. You can walk either left or right from there, and both sides have great views. We took the path on the right, and if you keep walking, you’ll eventually reach the suspension bridge.
It seems like this trail might connect all the way to Hallett Cove, but if you have the time, it’s definitely a nice place for a walk.
There is a bench there. On a beautiful day like this, it would be the perfect spot to sit, relax, and do absolutely nothing for a while. The view from there is stunning too!
Hallett Cove bridge walk
- 9:00 depart from city, take train to Hallett Cove station, about 50 minutes train.
- after get off train, navigation Coastal Walkway Bridges, a super beautiful bridge, hiking can start from here as starting point.
- then start all the way go south along coast, all the way very beautiful, about 1,000 meters later, you will reach Hallett Cove Conservation Park, here pass 6000 years ago formed pink volcano, super beautiful.
- from volcano place continue go south, there is a coffee shop called Boatshed Hallett Cove, can mid break, eat something, next to grass lawn can while drink coffee while sea wind, very relaxing.
- after that continue go south, along coastal boardwalk (location: Coastal walk bridge) keep walking, walking walking will become: right side sea, left side small hill, hill top also have very beautiful wild flowers.
- here this part seaside can end, time also almost afternoon, directly walk to train station “Hallett Cove Beach” station, take train go Seaford direction, at Noarlunga Railway Station get off, go next stop Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point.
- Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point is river enter sea place, next to jetty and boardwalk very beautiful, afternoon time just nice can see sunset, atmosphere full, good weather time many people surfing
