Recent weather is so perfect for hiking. Buderim Forest Park has a kid-friendly walking track, and you can also see a small waterfall. Round trip is about 2.5km, not difficult, recommended to everyone.
About one and a half hours from Brisbane, really worth the trip. This is the kind of very original tropical rainforest, the air is super humid and fresh, as soon as you go in you feel like your whole body is being “washed once”. Along the way there are tall trees, vines, and that very quiet forest atmosphere.
Buderim Rainforest Walk
The route is not long, also not hard, it’s a relaxed walking type, very suitable for weekend to come and empty your mind. The most surprising is there is waterfall + creek inside, you can hear water sounds all the way, very healing. When you walk to the waterfall that moment really feels like “worth it”, the water flow is very powerful, also very good for photos.
After rain tropical rainforest is really even nicer, waterfall also comes right at you, hiking is also quite easy~ drive a little over one hour and you arrive, also not too far, and this rainforest park is very close to shops, really beautiful!
This place is really super suitable for taking kids out, picnic and walking, a hidden gem forest. The whole way is green forest track, air is all fresh negative ions. Again, the track difficulty is not high, kids can walk by themselves.
Just casually walk also very beautiful rainforest route, friends went once and went second time
