Perth has introduced shared electric Scooters, so how’s everyone’s experience so far? Currently, Perth has introduced 500 shared electric scooters and even added a pilot program at Kings Park, making transportation much more convenient.

When riding, there will be voice prompts in areas where you need to slow down or cannot ride. The scooter will automatically slow down or stop, so just plan your route beforehand.

For every minute of use, Bird will charge 45 cents, and Neuron will charge 51 cents.
What are the rules?
Electric scooters will only be allowed to operate on roads with a maximum speed of 50 km/h and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The maximum speed for riders on sidewalks will be limited to 10 km/h.
Geofencing technology ensures that electric scooters will only operate in certain areas, including Hay Street Mall, Murray Street Mall, Forrest Place, and Kings Park.
Riders must be at least 16 years old and always wear a helmet, and each electric scooter can only be used by one person at a time.
