O3 located in Southbank is a membership-based café, converted from a warehouse. The members-only area has a British retro-style interior design, and WiFi and power outlets are fully available. Compared to school libraries, there are fewer people and it is quieter and more comfortable.
If you just want a coffee, you don’t need to enter the members area, and customers can also use some free seats outside the café.

Southbank is really a very livable area, with all kinds of activity spaces available. After studying for a long time at Southbank Library, I heard there was also a very nice café study space, so I came to check it out in my free time.
The moment I entered O3, I was attracted by the lush greenery and warm yellow lighting. There are also super photogenic seats by the window. Everyone here is immersed in studying, working, chatting casually, friends gathering, quiet communication, and even curling up on the sofa watching movies. In this space that combines design and relaxation, you can really enjoy time.
As someone who is super dependent on white noise, studying here unknowingly makes my efficiency much higher than at home!

First visit has a free trial, after that you need to apply for a membership card. The café also has many choices, plus simple light meals! Even staying the whole day you don’t have to worry about being thirsty or hungry.

As for membership fees, there are several packages: $15 per week and $40 per week. These two packages allow 24-hour unlimited access to the café study space and you can bring one friend. The $40 package also gives an extra $40 worth of virtual credit each week to spend on coffee and food in the café, and you can pause the membership anytime. However, both of these packages require a minimum 6-month subscription.
If you only come occasionally, you can choose the $30 per week package, which can be renewed weekly, but you can only come between 10:00 and 21:00, and you cannot bring friends. If you want a quiet, atmospheric place and don’t want to fight for a seat in a school library, splitting the membership cost with a friend is also a good option.
