Glebe Market – Things you need to know

Glebe Market

Glebe Market is widely regarded as one of the best flea markets in Sydney! It’s not just about secondhand treasures; many artisans also set up stalls, so you can find unique handmade jewellery, such as accessories and pearl necklaces. You might even stumble upon secondhand luxury items and vintage bags at incredibly low prices if you’re lucky.Getting to Glebe Market

Opening hours: EVERY SATURDAY | 10AM – 4PM

Location: 46-56 GLEBE POINT RD, GLEBE

You can easily find it on the map by searching for “Markets at Glebe” (Formally known as “Glebe Market”). It’s actually just past the park outside USYD, walk down towards Broadway at the intersection.

Glebe Market – What you will find

Designer studios’ products

These are the kind of stores that have a touch of design, and their prices are generally a bit higher. The items are really interesting, with beautiful ceramic plates. A small shop incorporated beach waves into their dinnerware and kitchen utensils. If you are looking to decorate your home, you should definitely consider checking them out!

Pretty clothing stores

They are all brand-new items, and the prices are usually around 50-60 dollars. The quality of the products is mostly good, and they are quite fashionable and reasonably priced.

The only difficulty is that most shops don’t have fitting rooms, so you have to rely on your intuition for sizing and how they look when worn!

Secondhand stores!

If you don’t mind secondhand items, it’s truly the best shopping place! You can find hidden treasures and bargains! The prices are generally around 10-20 dollars, and they even lower the prices after two or three in the afternoon!

Is the Glebe Market shutting down?

There were rumours before that Glebe Market in Sydney was going to close down, the truth is, Glebe Market is still open!
