Best places to get Bubble Tea in Melbourne

Comebuy Tea

Have you noticed there is a new beverage shop quietly opened downstairs in Melbourne Central? And, there’s always a long queue!

It turns out to be COMEBUY, which is popular in Hong Kong! Currently, this shop is only available in Melbourne and Brisbane! The shop adopts a “made-to-order, freshly brewed” approach, specialising in making fresh and natural drinks for tea enthusiasts.

As you enter the shop, you can see the tea-infusing machines constantly releasing steam at the entrance. Different types of tea are neatly stored in transparent, long tubes hanging on the wall, which is very distinctive.

Instea

Instea in Melbourne City has become the latest craze among the younger generation. They have been talking about visiting this milk tea shop and capturing the moment on social media. Finally, the mother found some time to fulfil the girls’ wishes! She familiarised herself with the concept and learned that Instea offers a unique milk tea called Chanel Perfume Bottle Milk Tea, which is said to originate from Malaysia. The highlight of this drink is the glass bottle it comes in! As a result, the price is slightly higher compared to regular milk teas. In the end, she couldn’t bear to throw away the bottle, so she cleaned it and brought it back home. It’s quite heavy!

Address: 210 Swanston St, Melbourne VIC 3000

Xing Fu Tang

Freshly brewed pearl milk tea shop in Melbourne. If you love black sugar, you must give it a try! This brand, Xing Fu Tang, originates from Taiwan. Their Black Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk When freshly cooked pearls combine with ice-cold fresh milk, the chewy and refreshing pearls become more flavourful with each bite. The top layer of the chilled fresh milk is lightly torched (don’t forget to give it a stir). The aroma is delightful!

Machi Machi

Very Instagrammable milk tea shop in Melbourne Emporium – Machi Machi. While strolling through Emporium, you will find the Machi Machi on LG floor. Machi Machi offers both dine-in and takeaway options, and you can adjust the sweetness and ice level of your milk tea.

Their classic milk tea and taro series are highly recommended. During Christmas and the New Year, they may even put little Santa hats on their bottled drinks!

Top Tea

Top Tea initially gained its popularity in Box Hill in the east and then expanded to Doncaster in the south. After garnering a significant following in these two well-known Chinese communities, they opened their third branch in Chinatown earlier this year. As you step into this milk tea shop, you’ll notice a fruit crate over three meters long, filled with various fresh fruits and seasonal produce. Moreover, right in front of the customers, they pour the freshly cut fruits into the cups, refusing to use any fruit jam or canned options. It’s a truly visible display of freshness!

CHOULEE

A new milk tea shop has opened near QV. The shop is spacious and perfect for sitting down and enjoying a milk tea while taking a break from shopping and scrolling through your phone.
There’s even a self-service ordering machine at the entrance, which is great for those with decision-making difficulties or who are indecisive about their order! At the ordering counter, they have their Top 20 signature recommendations.
One of their Top 20 is their Original Milk Tea, which has a rich tea flavour and perfectly cooked pearls that are soft, chewy, and just right!

Address: 249-251 Lonsdale St, Melbourne VIC 3000

Milksha

When you are passing by, you might notice a crowd of people lining up. Their signature drink is Earl Grey Milk Tea with honey pearls, the milk tea quite tasty, not too sweet!
