Alien Night Market – Asian Night Market in Brisbane

Alien Night Market

The highly anticipated Alien Night Market at Underwood is about to make its debut! Located just a 10-minute drive from Sunnybank and Rochedale, the market is situated next to Australia’s largest indoor gaming arena, Area51, and aims to showcase Asian culture through authentic cuisine!

What’s special about Alien Night Market

Alien Night Market is a foodie’s paradise, featuring an array of dazzling dishes to tantalise your taste buds and fill your eyes. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a unique bubble feast and catch the most exciting live band performances. Moreover, there are plenty of interactive games and competitions with amazing prizes waiting for you and your friends to challenge each other.

If you come with friends, you can all buy the food you like and then go to the stage area at the back to listen to music and share food together. After eating, you can play some small games in the game area. It’s quite fun to come with a group of friends.

In terms of food, there’s stinky tofu (it’s not bad, but when you first eat it, it’s hot and crunchy), grilled cold noodles (you can ask the vendors add more ingredients), grilled skewers (it was like 4 skewers for $10), jianbing (a type of Chinese crepe, it costs $13), fried yogurt (it’s pretty good, you can choose different flavours, such as grape, mango, Oreo cheese, and the ones with white flowers on the top are also tasty), ice powder (it costs $4.9), liangpi (a type of cold noodle dish with sesame sauce, gluten, and cucumber, the taste is average), braised duck, large squid, Peking duck, cheese hot dog, takoyaki (octopus balls, be careful when eating them because they’re a bit hot, but they’re really delicious), smashing lemon, grilled oysters, and much much more!
