The Rink at RISING

The RISING Arts Festival in Melbourne is a major event in June every year. This year, there’s something special. A super cool ice skating rink!

Take a walk along the small path next to the Yarra River, near St Kilda. On both sides are big trees adorned with fairytale-like lights!

Along the way, you’ll smell the aroma of buttered popcorn, hot chocolate, and mulled wine. Keep walking until you reach the radiant lights of the big tent.

Then you can put on ice skates and go ice skating amidst a colourful display of lights!

After skating, you can sit by the bonfire and enjoy a hot drink! They have coffee and bubble tea, anything you want!

In addition, there are plenty of food options available, such as Hot Dog Deli, Fugazi Pizza, Manny’s Doughnuts, Pie Thief, fries, and more. They even have gluten-free and vegetarian options!

Entering this place is free, no tickets required, except for ice skating, which requires a ticket. Come and experience this super cool winter activity together!

The prices for RISING Season range from $23 to $34, varying depending on the event. There are also family packages available. For 1 adult and 2 children, it’s only $69, and for 2 adults and 2 children, it’s only $99.

Duration: From the time of entry, you can enjoy ice skating for up to 90 minutes. Make sure to fully embrace the fun on the ice during your skating time!
