We find that WaterMarc swimming pool is very suitable for taking kids to play in the water. There is a large area with water play and slides, suitable for children from 2 years old and above. It makes taking kids out for water play easy and relaxing.
WaterMarc has a variety of water play areas that can cater to adults and children of all ages. The boundaries of the pool activity area are low, making it easy for adults, children, and the elderly to move around confidently!
The floor is also covered with a lot of anti-slip soft rubber granule floor which is very thoughtful. The place is clean, with plenty of chairs and seats for accompanying parents. And it’s warm and well-lit!
It’s only a 15-minute drive from Doncaster East, and it’s much more fun than the Doncaster swimming pool in our opinion!
Our experience
Here’s the highlight, a super-sized water slide, but it seems that only adults and older children can go on it, and there are only two water floats. If you go alone, you must share a water float with a stranger. The ticket for the slide is separate but not expensive. There are also many lifeguards on duty.
One of the pools is also very shallow, allowing parents to swim and play with their kids without worry. Of course, we also really like the Tantrum Alley waterslide, which the whole family can enjoy together, suitable for all ages.
The water on the children’s slide is a bit cold, but the other deep and shallow pools are warm.
Non-swimmers are not charged. Our kid is under 4 years old and it’s free, and parking is free too!
WaterMarc parking and facilities
There are plenty of parking spaces outside. We arrived at 11 o’clock on a Saturday and easily found parking spaces and seats by the pool. There are many clean changing rooms, and many family change rooms as well.

Food and drink
Just a few steps away from the pool is a cafe. No need to prepare food yourself!
