Melbourne is really on a roll, with a new Snow Ice and Souffle dessert shop (Oski SnowIce) opening on Elizabeth Street, which stays open until the wee hours, truly friendly for us night owls!
We’ve been there a few times this week with our kids, and it’s pretty delicious. Tried four flavours of snow ice: watermelon, honeydew, red bean soy powder, and a mixed fruit one – each with its own charm, but personally, we lean towards honeydew and mixed fruit!
What to try
Honeydew Tsuki: The honeydew balls are sweeter than first love, paired perfectly with milk ice and honeydew, and the ice is finely textured.
Summervibes: It’s mango season right now, tangy-sweet with strawberries, lychees, and blueberries, overall visually appealing, giving off a whole tropical island vibe.
The souffle is a bit of a surprise, freshly made and still warm, incredibly fluffy and aromatic with milk!
Both the pearl boba and mango ones are delicious, sweetness just right!
The mango-flavored souffle comes with a mango sorbet, so refreshing, feels like peeling a mango beside you on a summer day.
Apart from desserts, they also serve drinks and tea, and the lighting in the shop is really cool – perfect for a gathering with friends and family!
