Luddenham Raceway Go Karting Sydney Experience, Price, Tips and Review

Luddenham Raceway is a place that is both fun and produces great photos. There are many photos that even feel like they can be posted straight out without editing. The speed while driving is quite fast, definitely choose a day with good weather to go.

Played 3 × 10min, each round has a 10min rest after finishing. Personally feel that 3 × 10 is already very tiring. People who don’t exercise much like me can completely treat it as a fitness activity experience. Today my friends and I all felt sore like our whole body was beaten.

Strongly recommend bringing gloves. Maybe I drove too hard, after the first round my hands were already rubbed and broken. For the next two rounds, in anger I stuck chest tape onto my palms and held the steering wheel to drive.

Recommend not drifting too aggressively, otherwise you might feel a bit carsick. In my second round I drove crazily with the determination to get into 40s, drove until I felt like vomiting in the kart, happily got best result 38.831, not wasting my old horse still aiming for a thousand miles.

While playing, my brain kept looping Lose My Mind, pretending I was driving F1, imagining I was Brad Pitt, but in reality I was a Shen Teng.

About transport: if you have a car, best to drive yourself, about 50km from the city. If taking a taxi, around 80 to 100 on the way there, 150 to 200 on the way back, total at least two to three hundred. Checked public transport, it takes 2.5 hours, and after arriving at the final stop you still must take a taxi to the kart track because there is no bus stop nearby. If walking, it takes 11 hours to walk back to the city from the kart track. Round trip 24 hours walking can definitely be completed, just bring enough food.

Sydney go-karting at Luddenham Raceway. Newbie zero-threshold, no driver licence required, professional guidance and real-time track support. More than ten people can book the whole venue and choose different sets, specifics according to the official website. We played at 170 per person.

Why worth playing. One of Sydney’s largest tracks, stepping the accelerator to the bottom is super stress-relieving. Safety measures are in place, first experience also does not need to worry. We ran 3 sections continuously without dizziness. Service is very nice, equipment is all very new.

Guide. Search Luddenham Raceway official website and choose karting. Sessions optional: 1 session 45, 2 sessions 70, 3 sessions 100. Bring ID for registration. Recommend completing registration online in advance, but on-site registration is also okay.

Small tips. Beginners recommend choosing 2 sessions so you can rest in between. People prone to motion sickness recommend starting with 1 session. Wear comfortable clothes.

This activity really cannot be organised without a few friends who love driving. Drive 45 minutes from city, then drive karts for one hour, then drive 45 minutes back home. Gather enough ten people can book the whole venue. At first did not understand why friends insisted on gathering more than ten people. Now understand, booking the whole venue and playing with friends is super extremely happy. I announce this is the happiest day I played this month.

Sydney outdoor large go-kart track. This is very stress-relieving. Very suitable to relax during finals. Step the accelerator to the bottom. Overtake on corners and drift. Release all the stress of finals.

Before going, book in advance, phone booking is fine. Check in show ID for registration, around 70 for 20min. First watch safety video. Store personal belongings and change gear including head cover, helmet, gloves and neck cover. Adjust accelerator and brake position, raise hand to signal staff for adjustment.

Girls can bring a hair tie, long hair needs to be wrapped well, try not to wear hoodies.

About the experience. First time go-kart experience, fun and exciting. I am a bit timid but did not feel scared while driving. We booked 2 × 10min, after finishing first round need to get off, wait more than ten minutes before second round starts. Each round has different people starting together with us. Track is not very long, personally feel one round is enough. The steering wheel is not very heavy. In the second round I directly drove slowly to watch the sunset.

Girls with long hair can ask staff for a hair tie, also each person will get a windproof neck cover which can be taken away. The helmet is quite tight, I wore size M.

Pay attention to safety. One friend was hit by another kart and it will feel very uncomfortable.
