Best Cat Cafes in Sydney
Catmosphere Cat Cafe
The cats in this place all seem to have good personalities. They are easy to pet, some even rub against us and comfortably snore. There are several options to choose from, with separate rooms for big cats and kittens. You can choose the one you prefer.
We chose the room with the big cats and went in the morning. The official website mentions that these cats have been rescued, and some are available for adoption.
It’s important to note that reservations are required, either on the official website or at the store.
The cost includes a complimentary soda or tea, and you can use a Discover voucher. The owner is super nice. Our experience was good overall, and we even booked our next visit with the owner when leaving!

Poke Cafe/ Pokemeow
We finally visited the cat cafe that’s super popular on social media! We truly have no resistance to adorable cats, and now they’ve even added a dinner menu – perfect for us working folks!
They have so many cats, and when we went in the evening, there were 9 of them, including Ragdoll cats, Garfield cats, and even a hairless cat!
Coming here for dinner allows you to have intimate interactions with them, making it a paradise for cat lovers! The owner is super nice. If you have special dietary requests, such as vegetarian or a particularly soft risotto, they will try their best to accommodate your needs.
The food is also quite delicious, surprising me. we initially thought it was just using the cat café gimmick, but even without cuddling cats, coming here for a meal alone would still be a good choice!
Dining and cat cuddling areas are separate; reservations are required for cat cuddling.
Pet owners can also buy pet supplies and food here. They also offer grooming and bathing services for dogs and cats!

YUMIAO cat cafe
We went to check out Yumiao Cat Cafe. There are a total of seventeen kitties inside, all very well-behaved and friendly! Our favourite is the calico cat! So soft and beautiful! There’s also a flame-coloured Ragdoll, chubby and lazy, always sleeping which is quite amusing! Even during the feeding session, you can get them to wake up and eat.
We booked the Feeding session for $33/pp, including drinks. It lasts for an hour, with the first 30 minutes for drinks, free activities, photos, etc., and the last 30 minutes for feeding the cats.
On Saturday, it was quite crowded since the space inside was relatively small.
They have updated their summer drinks, definitely worth trying.
