Beautiful Campsite on the Gold Coast - Tallaringa Private Camping

About an hour’s drive south of the Gold Coast lies Tallaringa Campsite, perfect for cozy holiday getaways with family and friends! The campsite offers a fantastic environment with vast grasslands, small lakes, forests, bridges, swings, and more, instantly immersing us in a cozy realm reminiscent of a small farm. Bring your cameras along for some beautiful shots.

What we think

We booked two Domes, which, despite being transparent tents, were well-insulated with air conditioning and comfortably furnished inside!

With a total of four people, we had the entire campsite to ourselves. There’s plenty to do here; we recommend arriving early as we spent quite some time taking photos because the campsite is vast and the scenery is rich.

The campsite provides barbecue grills, utensils, a refrigerator, and some seasonings. We purchased a bunch of barbecue ingredients to feast on, but they also offer pre-order meals.

In the evening, we watched movies on the campsite’s projector, and there were also some classic movies in the collection. You can explore them all!

The campsite allows for campfires and provides a basket of firewood for us to enjoy. We spent the night by the campfire, sipping wine and admiring the moon, feeling utterly relaxed!

The campsite also offers many extras:

  • Painting activities
  • Romantic setups (bed)
  • Bubble baths 🛁
  • Barbecue, pizza, breakfast, picnic hampers, and more

At night, you can clearly see the stars and definitely shouldn’t miss the beautiful sunrise in the morning!

Tips

  1. Pets are allowed but there is no fence, so please take good care of your pets.
  2. There are no fences between the nearby dam and water bodies; those who cannot swim should wear life jackets.
  3. Extras such as patio bathtubs and special meals are available for an additional purchase.
  4. Wi-Fi is not provided.

It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Brisbane City, mostly along the highway, but you’ll need to slow down for some mountain roads as you approach the destination!
