There’s a new family-friendly spot in Brisbane that’s perfect for kids’ outings and parties, and the views are amazing too.
A newly opened place in Brisbane that’s definitely worth checking out.

This place used to be a winery and sits on a hillside overlooking the Brisbane River. It has recently reopened with a whole new setup.

Food & Drinks:
There are three restaurants here. One of them faces the water and has a huge outdoor lawn area that’s perfect for relaxing, eating, and enjoying the breeze while the kids run around. There are plenty of tables and chairs, and honestly, the food was actually pretty good. There’s also a super photogenic vintage bus in the distance, and lots of people were bringing picnic mats.
There’s also a gelato shop nearby (not recommended though). The flavours tasted a bit strange and everything was melted and out of shape — felt like the machine wasn’t working properly.

The Hills of Rivermakers playgrounds
There are two playgrounds here.
One is an outdoor playground located near the back restaurant (P11 area). It’s great for older kids because parents can sit nearby and eat while keeping an eye on them.
Upstairs from this restaurant, across the bridge, there’s also a temporary indoor playground with ball pits, trampolines, and air conditioning. It’s much better suited for younger kids and toddlers.
On the left after crossing the bridge, there’s a petting zoo. Entry is $8 per person and includes a small pack of animal feed.
Petting zoo opening hours: Friday–Sunday until 4:00 pm.
There are super cute chicks, goats, and ducks. Just be careful — some of the goats will literally jump onto your kid’s tummy to grab food.
Behind this restaurant area, there’s also a row of lookout tables and chairs (P2 area) with a really nice view.
At night, the outdoor area lights up and the atmosphere becomes really beautiful.
The whole venue has several different red brick buildings, which would make such a nice place to rent for a kids party.
