The newly opened Coombs Playground (opened in 2022) is a must-visit with your kids! The combination of wooden elements and matcha green is absolutely exquisite.

It’s located by the lake, and the environment is fantastic. They even have barbecue facilities, making it a perfect place for children’s birthday parties.

The design of this park is arguably the best in Canberra. It’s suitable for both young and older children, with its whimsical wooden ball-shaped structures. There’s also a sandpit, ensuring that even the littlest ones are taken care of.

You’ll find climbing structures, slides, trampolines, swings – everything you can think of. Your kids can easily spend an entire afternoon here.

The only thing to watch out for is that the tall climbing frames can be a bit low for older kids.
