Ruddock Park
The Ruddock Park by Hornsby Council has undergone a complete upgrade! It has transformed from a quiet park into a popular gathering and play destination for nearby families!
The renovation is still in progress, and the park now features:
- Basketball court
- Scooter/bike tracks
- Multi-person swings
- Adult exercise area, and more
There are no food vendors nearby, so it’s best to bring your own picnic!
Ruddock Park is hidden in Westleigh and is a great place for families to enjoy. The park has a pirate-themed play area, tennis courts (next to the playground), bike paths, barbecue facilities, shaded picnic tables, and a large grassy area under the trees, making it an ideal spot for group gatherings. However, introverts should avoid weekends and public holidays as it can get extremely crowded.
- Fencing: None, but the park is away from major roads and considered safe.
- Shaded Areas: There are several gazebos and plenty of trees.
Parking: There are free on-street parking spaces near the park. Keep in mind that it can get crowded on weekends, but parking spaces aren’t too hard to find!
