We’ve always wanted to check out Randwick, and during the holidays, we made the journey across half of Sydney to visit.

Inglis New Market is a popular spot for fun and leisure. Inglis Park in Randwick is a hotspot for parents with children. The park has a children’s play area with small slides and climbing equipment. The main attraction is a rotating slide that can only be reached by climbing up a net. Young kids can only play on the swings and small slides, but when they get older they can climb to the top with my encouragement!

Street parking is available, but on weekends and holidays, it might be a bit challenging to find a close spot, so you might need to park further away.

This park is suitable for kids of all ages, though it seems the older kids will have an absolute blast here. There’s a super tall slide that everyone needs to climb up to.

At most playgrounds, parents often end up standing, but here, there’s an abundance of seating in all directions, giving you a complete view of the entire playground!

There is No BBQ facilities, but there are many restaurants nearby. Parents can enjoy a coffee or something to eat and be quite comfortable.

However we didn’t see any shade structures, but it doesn’t feel too sunny as there are many large trees around providing natural shade. The trees are stunning too by the way!

Overall, we highly recommended for families especially with older kids! Even though our younger one couldn’t enjoy all the equipment, he had a great time running around, crawling through tunnels, and sliding down slides.

The surrounding area has Messina ice cream, rib and burger, Carli Press breakfast, and a few Italian restaurants. It’s a perfect spot for eating, drinking, and playing all in one place. You can easily spend half a day here.
