Each October, Bondi Beach holds a seaside sculpture exhibition called “Sculpture by the Sea,” breaking away from the traditional gallery model and placing the exhibition in nature!
The fun sculptures this year include:

- Little Person Holding Their Head
- Rocket

Tips and things you need to know
From Sydney’s Central Station, take a train for 6 stops, then transfer to a bus, or catch the 333 bus from Circular Quay to reach Bondi Beach.
You can navigate directly by searching “Sculpture by the Sea” on Google Maps. The starting point is just a bit south of the famous Icebergs Pool at Bondi Beach.
Make sure to wear sunscreen, It may not be too cold, but the coastal winds are intense.
Along the way, Marks Park has public restrooms, outdoor snack stands, and an indoor mini sculpture exhibition. Besides the smaller versions of some outdoor sculptures, you’ll find additional pieces not displayed outside.
