Wattle Park Playground – Tram-Themed Playground in Melbourne
Cars, trains, and trams are perennial themes that always delight kids.
The Wattle Park Playground in Surry Hills, located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, was recently renovated this year, and it’s definitely worth a visit.
The classic yellow and green colour scheme gives it a fresh and inviting look, and the tram-shaped giant slide adds a fun twist. Kids of all ages can be seen darting up and down, enjoying the chase.
Even the littlest ones can take a turn at the wheel, experiencing a brief moment as the driver.
In addition to the tram slide, which combines various elements, the playground offers a variety of climbing nets, swings, a sandbox, a water pump, a spinning disc, and more.
The playground covers a vast area, and its features are well spread out, so even when it’s crowded, it doesn’t feel cramped.
Located within the State Park of Wattle Park, this playground has many amenities, including BBQ areas, restrooms, an outdoor stage, a chapel, and plenty of seating. The park is named after the beautiful golden wattle trees!
With the flowers in full bloom, it’s the perfect time for gatherings, family outings, and photos. This place is an excellent recommendation for early spring activities.
