Eveleigh Green Park and Playground
Holiday Fun with Kids! Don’t Miss This Artistic Playground!
Located in South Eveleigh, near Redfern train station, Eveleigh Green is a delightful and creative installation art playground!
The highlight of this park is undoubtedly the iron treehouse by Sydney artist Neil, a great place for kids to play house! Below the tin treehouse, you’ll find natural wooden play equipment.
Next to the wooden climbing combination, there’s a sandpit and a swing. By the sandpit, there’s an iron slide and a row of earthy stepping stones, making it a great base for adventure games! Highly recommended for picnics and play with your kids!
Right next to the playground, there’s a café and public toilets, but they are only open from Monday to Friday. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and there’s a 7-day open IGA supermarket operating until late at night. If you continue walking, you’ll come to the Locomotive Workshop, one of New South Wales’s most important heritage buildings.
Across the street from the playground is a multi-sport area, which includes a soccer field, tennis courts, a basketball court, and a skateboard park. You can book these facilities on the official website.
