Sydney CBD also has rice cake coffee and Korean chewy rice cakes now! We’ve heard about this famous Korean cafe (Siroo) for a long time, although there are branches in Eastwood, Burwood, North Ryde, we haven’t specifically gone to check in.
We didn’t expect it to open in the city, hehe, it’s the grand opening! The name of the shop is Siroo, diagonally opposite World Square, featuring various Korean rice cakes and coffee.
Things we tried
Soybean Latte
For those who work nearby can try the Soybean Latte we bought as we received unanimous praise from our colleagues! There’s also a chewy rice cake on top of the coffee. The sweet coffee paired with the rich creaminess of soybean flavour is very tasty, with just the right sweetness!
Black Sesame Latte
We also tried the Black Sesame Latte, also $8, not bad at all. There’s also a chewy rice cake on top. The taste of the two coffees is quite similar. You can choose according to your preferences. Personally, we prefer the soybean one!
Rice Cakes
The rice cakes in this shop are made fresh daily, they look soft and chewy. There are many flavours such as soybean powder, black sesame, red bean pumpkin, walnut purple rice, etc. There are also steamed cakes and strawberry daifuku, it’s $4 and they are super large!
Shaved Ice
We’ve seen many people recommend soybean red bean ice and matcha ice, which are also on my wish list. Desserts are a must-eat for the summer heat!
