After having lunch in Kew, we happened to stumble upon the newly upgraded and reopened Hays Paddock Playground!
The previous version was already an impressive large wooden playground. But now, there are more intricate play structures and climbing nets, with lots of interactive details that even older kids will enjoy!
What we like about the Hays Paddock Playground
The sandbox isn’t huge but comes with diggers and lift buckets. There are also visual cue signs nearby, making it friendly for children with additional needs. It’s a great way for little ones to start learning to recognise words.
They’ve added a small water pump play area, and nearby you’ll find hammocks, swings, mushroom seats, and the iconic large butterfly shade structure is still there.
The bird-watching hut has also been rebuilt, and there’s even a big triceratops nearby!
There are restrooms available, making it very convenient, and you can also enjoy a walk around the area.
