Onsen Hot Pools

Onsen Hot Pools in Queenstown, 15 minutes from Queenstown’s city centre · The hot pool is made of cedar wood and emits a pleasant woody fragrance when filled with water. The temperature is around 38 degrees Celsius and adjustable. Enjoy a winter landscape with the Shotover River as the backdrop while soaking in the hot pool. You can even see stars at night. Driving there is convenient, and nearby activities include boating, enjoying beer, and walking on beautiful trails.

Hanmer Springs

1.5-hour drive from Christchurch · The town of Hanmer Springs offers various outdoor hot pools, including rock pools, sulfur pools, and rainbow pools, each with unique effects and views.

This place is not just about hot springs, it’s more like a hot spring playground. The town has designed several aquatic playgrounds suitable for both adults and children.

Tekapo Hot Springs

Located by Lake Tekapo, with three different pools where you can soak while enjoying the beautiful lake view. The picturesque scenery helps relieve travel fatigue – an unmissable activity. · There are three pools with temperatures ranging from 36 to 40 degrees Celsius. The pools have seats, allowing you to sit and enjoy the springs while admiring the lake and surrounding mountains. · The hot springs also offer stargazing experiences at night, with both indoor and outdoor options.

Secret Spot Hot Tubs

Experience the ultimate relaxation in these fantastic wooden hot tubs, nestled against the backdrop of a lush forest. During sunset, immerse yourself in the warm water, listen to the birds’ songs and the flowing stream, and enjoy a moment of tranquillity. It’s incredibly comfortable and rejuvenating! The photo opportunities are also beautifully rustic.
