DIY Plaster Painting in Melbourne

Who would have thought you could find plaster figurine painting in Melbourne too! It was quite busy when we went this weekend! You can search on Google “Pigment Squad” to book a spot in advance, or if you’re lucky, you might be able to walk in and find an available seat!

Once you’re in, head to the shelves to pick your favourite plaster figurine. There are different models suitable for both boys and girls, and kids can also find their favourite cartoon characters! The figurine come in various sizes, and the price varies accordingly. The one we chose was around $45.

What we think about the DIY Plaster Painting in Melbourne experience

At first, we thought it would be really difficult because we had never done any DIY crafts before, but we ended up falling in love with it!

The process of painting and drawing was incredibly therapeutic. The shop’s environment was very quiet, and we got so absorbed in painting for almost three hours and just focused entirely on the artwork. The final result turned out to be super cute too!

After choosing your figurine, you can grab a palette, brushes, a cup for washing brushes, and put on an apron.

The rule is that you can only pick six colours!

It’s a great activity for a fun afternoon with the kids! We started painting around 3 PM and didn’t finish until almost 8 PM.
