Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat – Tropical Rainforest Getaway

Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat

If you love nature and want to soak in a hot tub in the tropical rainforest, listen to the chirping of insects and birds, and relax in a natural oxygen bar, you can choose Crystal Creek Forest Retreat. Although the price is a bit expensive, it is definitely worth it! The resort is located at the border of Queensland and New South Wales, and it takes about two hours by car from Brisbane.

Where is Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat

Although the address shows Newstead, it is actually located near Springbrook National Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lamington National Park.

Address: 201 Booka Rd, Upper Crystal Creek NSW 2484

Romantic Tropical Rainforest Getaway around Burringbar

The entire resort has only a few independent and secluded villas, designed exclusively for couples and restricted to adults only. The resort has an 8-kilometer long hiking trail in the tropical rainforest, where you can see fireflies at night and swim in the stream. They also offer couples’ massage services. Food and beverage services are available, but there is also a complete kitchen and an outdoor BBQ where you can cook your own food. The resort’s provided food needs to be pre-ordered based on a specified menu, and it will be delivered to your room. All you need to do is follow the instructions to reheat it.

The tropical rainforest is still cool in summer, and you may even want to turn on the heater during the day. The fireplace is especially necessary at night.

After soaking in the hot tub, you will feel very relaxed! And even your sleep quality might improve. On a rainy day, the raindrops beat against the leaves of the trees, making a “drip-drip” sound which is also something great to experience.
