A Stay at Noosa’s Floating Villa

A Stay at Noosa's Floating Villa

We drove to Noosa National Park just to stay at the Floating Eco Villa, which has been named “Best Accommodation of the Year” by several magazines. With mountains and ocean views, walking trails, and beaches to explore, it’s a favourite holiday spot for Australians!

The villa owner designed this floating house with sustainable energy in mind. It runs on solar power, has hot water, and a fully equipped kitchen, making it super comfortable!

We stayed here for three days, spending our days sunbathing on the deck, fishing, and paddling on SUPs and kayaks! We had snorkelling gear, two SUP boards, a small kayak, and fishing equipment on hand.

Afternoons were for grocery trips to town, and evenings meant cooking dinner while watching sunsets and starry skies.

What we like about the Floating Eco Villa

Wake up to gentle water sounds, watch the sunrise, and dive right off the deck. Swim in the morning light.

Convenient Sightseeing

With kayaks or an anchor boat, it’s easy to reach the shore. Rent surfboards or walk to Noosa’s famous Hastings Street.

Rare Ecosystem

This is one of the world’s top ten surfing reserves. Live alongside dolphins, turtles, and whales in crystal-blue waters.

Great Facilities

After a day at sea, enjoy a hot shower. The villa features advanced solar power, desalination, and energy systems. Relax with WiFi and Bluetooth speakers while savouring the scenery!
