Harmony Day is NOT a public holiday.
Harmony Day is centered around equality and social justice. It is about social cohesion and racial harmony and is expressed through community participation, inclusiveness, the celebration of diversity, respect, belonging, and primarily the unity and togetherness from the numerous nationalities residing within the community.
The colour representing Harmony Day is orange which is the colour symbolic of peace and diversity in our society.
