Sydney’s New Must-Visit Croissant - Pantry Story

This croissant shop in Stanmore , Pantry Story has become super popular lately. As soon as we parked, we could already see a long line from afar, and we had to wait 15 minutes for our turn.It stands out by incorporating various Asian-inspired flavours into each croissant.

Some of the more unique options include flavours like black sesame mochi, pandan leaves, Korean sweet and spicy sauce, and yuzu honey, offering a mix of sweet and savoury croissants. Additionally, they display all the croissants on a round table in the centre of the store, allowing customers to take their time browsing and carefully choosing before placing their order at the counter!

The display at this shop is really impressive, with a dozen different types of croissants laid out on a round table for you to choose from. We arrived at noon, and at least five types were already sold out.

Things we tried

Pandan Bun – The crispy crust is infused with the fragrance of pandan leaves, and inside the croissant, there’s a special pandan cream that enhances the aroma even more.

Chocolate, Hazelnut, Almond Praline Babka – The croissant is filled with rich hazelnut almond praline, and the crispy surface is coated with a slightly bitter dark chocolate sauce. This is perfect for chocolate lovers and those who enjoy sweeter croissants.

Pandan Cookie – The pandan-flavoured cookie is topped with chocolate chips, soft mochi, and a hint of coconut sugar, offering a unique texture.
