Things to do at Monopoly Dreams Melbourne
- 4D Experience Total duration: 3.5 minutes. The viewing experience is good; during the session, chairs rotate, and there are water and air jets to enhance immersion.
- Infrared Crossing Playable alone or with a partner, lasts for 60 seconds. If the red line is touched multiple times, the game ends, making it quite challenging.
Monopoly City Zone
- Money Grab Game Lasts about 20 seconds. Money grabbed can be exchanged for real money at the souvenir shop and café (café not yet open). Maximum use is $5 at a time. Money can also be taken as a souvenir. 1000 Monopoly dollars = 1 AUD.
- Landlord Property Card One ticket gets one property card. Before redeeming, play a game across from it for a chance to get an extra card. Enter your name on the landlord property card to get a personalised one with a place for a stamped seal. Remember to stamp; it’s not very obvious.
- City Illumination Continuous jumping or clapping hands can illuminate the entire city. It’s a physical activity; experience as needed, as the park indoors can be a bit stuffy.
- Escape from Jail A decryption mini-game to guess a password with a numeric combination. Free activities conclude here.
Paid Activities
- Claw Machine $10 = 5 game coins. The more you buy, the cheaper. Game coins can be used for the claw machine and gashapon machine. They are Monopoly-style coins. Keep a few as souvenirs. The claw strength was strong when I went; I got some good catches.
- Gashapon 6 game coins each time. Includes badges and keychains with good quality, not sold outside the souvenir shop.
- Three Small Games $25 = 3 game opportunities. All quite challenging, similar to the individually paid games at LUNA PARK. We played three games and didn’t win anything, but the staff gave us a small badge as a consolation prize.
