Paradise Country
On a weekday, we headed to the haven of Paradise Country, a farm on the Gold Coast. With our theme park annual passes, we enjoyed the unlimited visits, although a couple of times would suffice given its size. While younger kids may love it, older kids might find it less exciting compared to his preference for Movie World.
Spotting the sculpture of Shaun the Sheep indicates you’re in the right place.
The combined ticket includes a short train ride lasting a few minutes, Shaun the Sheep’s song and dance performance, an entertaining interaction between Shaun the Sheep and koalas, and a sheep-shearing show. You can take the wool home as a souvenir – the fluffy wool is adorable. Clancy’s Opal Mine requires an additional $10 fee, providing a gold mining experience.
