At Melbourne Voiceworks, our primary focus for children is to foster their love of singing from the very first lesson. We strive to continually inspire young vocalists, whilst simultaneously working to instil correct vocal techniques, provide a strong music foundation, and facilitate the development of a healthy self-esteem and confidence.

Staff at Melbourne Voiceworks are vibrant, encouraging, patient, and supportive.  We work with children at a pace appropriate to them, enabling them to experience the true joy of singing in a relaxed and nurturing environment.

Staff at Melbourne Voiceworks assist children in developing key concepts such as the ability to sing rhythmically (in time), to sing in tune (sing the correct notes), how to best utilise the breath, and techniques that are geared toward developing, strengthening, and supporting the longevity of the voice.

Children are guided though relevant warm-ups, scales & arpeggios, technical exercises specific to their needs, and songs appropriate to their age, taste and technical ability.
